EMDR therapy to help you process, heal, and finally feel like yourself again.
Maybe you’ve moved forward… but part of you still feels stuck.
You might find yourself:
• Overthinking or feeling constantly on edge
• Triggered by things that “shouldn’t” feel so big
• Replaying memories you wish you could let go of
• Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted
Maybe you’ve been through trauma, loss, or painful experiences, and even though time has passed, your body and mind haven’t fully caught up.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not broken, your brain just hasn’t had the chance to fully process what happened.
That’s where EMDR can help.
What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a highly effective, evidence-based therapy that helps your brain process and heal from distressing experiences.
Instead of just talking about what happened, EMDR works by helping your brain reprocess those memories so they no longer feel as intense, overwhelming, or “stuck.”
During sessions, I’ll guide you through a structured process using gentle, bilateral stimulation (such as guided eye movements) to help your brain naturally do what it’s designed to do, heal.
Over time, those memories begin to feel:
• Less triggering
• Less emotionally charged
• More like something that happened… instead of something you’re still living in
What EMDR Can Help With
• Trauma (past or recent)
• Anxiety and constant overthinking
• Grief and loss
• Childhood experiences that still impact you
• Postpartum or birth-related trauma
• Infertility and emotionally difficult life seasons
What Therapy With Me Feels Like
Starting EMDR can feel intimidating but you won’t be thrown into anything you’re not ready for.
We move at your pace.
My role is to create a space where you feel:
• Safe
• Supported
• In control of the process
You’ll always be fully aware and present during sessions, and we’ll spend time building tools to help you feel grounded before we begin deeper work.
Is EMDR Hypnosis?
No, EMDR is not hypnosis.
You are awake, aware, and in control the entire time.
EMDR is a structured, research-backed therapy that helps your brain process memories more effectively, it doesn’t involve a trance or loss of control.
The Outcome
Many clients begin to notice:
• A reduction in anxiety and emotional triggers
• Feeling calmer and more regulated
• Less intensity around past memories
• Greater confidence and sense of control
• Finally feeling like they can move forward
You don’t have to stay stuck in the past. Healing is possible and you don’t have to do it alone.
If you’re ready to feel lighter, more grounded, and more like yourself again, I’d love to support you.
